• Design and create customer-facing products and internal tools, write performant code adhering to the company’s coding style guides with proper unit test coverage, identify bottlenecks in the system and improve application response times.
• Work with engineers, product managers, business team, and senior leadership to turn our product and technical vision into a tangible roadmap every quarter.
• Take ownership of technical aspects of our infrastructure, ensuring that the platform is being used to its fullest potential through designing and building applications around our customer’s needs
• Review and monitor current engineering work, as well as previously constructed applications, to ensure the software is running as smoothly as possible
• Rapidly iterate to add new functionality, solve complex problems with simple, intuitive, and customer-focused solutions while shipping quality application
• Provide support for platform-related issues; Triage and fix issues reported to help with timely resolution

Minimum Qualifications

• BE/Btech degree with equivalent years of experience
• You have at least 5 years of experience in software engineering and have experience working with production scale web applications
• You have at least 3 years of experience writing production code in python strongly preferred
• You have at least 1-year production experience with React, also know HTML5, CSS3, or jQuery
• You have at least 1 year of working in an AWS environment
• You’re comfortable working full-stack and are excited about diving into the frontend, backend or datastore as needed
• You have good knowledge regarding data structures, algorithms, and asynchronous architectures
• Understanding of the modern industry technical methodologies and are comfortable operating in dynamic environments
• You’re passionate about building an open financial system that expands our product to the next level
• A plus if you have experience with docker based applications in cloud infra
• A plus if you have ML experience about Tensorflow, MLlib, H2O, etc
• A plus if you have security experience

• Team Management: Manage a team of associates who handle all incoming counterparty settlement requests within a pre-agreed timeframe. Act as a point for a portfolio of counterparties
• Process Management: Track KPIs for trade operations and monitor team performance.
• Coordination: Liaise with Trading Desk, Product, and Customer Success teams to understand and deliver on their expectations with regards to serving clients.
• Investigation: Investigate and resolve operational issues and come up with scalable solutions
• Reconciliations: Ensure trades, transfers and inventory reconciliation happens across different internal subsystems and external systems – banks, custodians, etc.
• System Improvement: Design simple, elegant and scalable post-trade operational processes – confirmation, settlement. Create product requirement documents for improving our in-house settlement platform and help with with testing & rollout of system changes
• Inventory Management: Monitor daily inventory needs  for – settlement, lending & borrowing activity- and liaise directly with counterparties and agent banks to fulfill those needs.
• Collateral Management: Ensure sufficient collateral and inventory is maintained across counterparties and exchanges at all times for operational continuity
• Risk Management: Provide inputs to compliance and risk teams to design pragmatic controls in this environment of changing regulatory landscape.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulation across trade operations.
• Accounting: Liaise with Accounting and ensure proper trade and settlement data is provided to them on a timely basis.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in a trading firm, hedge fund or bank
• Superb organizational skills – you love designing and refining processes
• Experience growing and managing a team
• BA/BS in Finance, Accounting or a related field
• Desire to become a pioneering expert on digital assets such as Bitcoin and Ethereum
